The Website also uses third-party service providers to deliver certain features. Each provider’s use of your personal information is governed by its own privacy policy. The Website currently uses the following:
- Google Analytics (Google): measures how visitors use the Website, such as which pages are viewed and where visitors come from. Only used with your consent. Except when required by law, we will not sell, distribute or reveal your email address or other personal information without your consent. However, we may disclose or transfer personal information collected through the Website to third parties who acquire all or a portion of our business, which may be the result of a merger, consolidation, or purchase of all or a portion of our assets, or in connection with any bankruptcy or reorganisation proceeding brought by or against us.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of the providers above, including Google, may process your information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where this happens, it is done under the safeguards those providers put in place for international transfers, as described in their own privacy policies.
How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected. In deciding how long that is, we consider whether we still need it to deal with your enquiry or any resulting booking, whether we are required by law to keep it (for example for accounting and tax records), and whether it might be needed to deal with a complaint or dispute. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.
- Enquiries and correspondence: kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting booking, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up questions.
- Accounting and tax records: kept for the period required by law.
- Google Analytics data: kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, currently 14 months.
- Cookies: kept for the periods stated in our Cookie Policy.
Anonymous and aggregated data
From time to time, we may use anonymous or aggregated data, which does not identify you. Examples include summary statistics about Website visits. We may use this to understand and improve the Website, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.
Cookies
The Website uses cookies and similar technologies to make it work properly, to remember your preferences, and, with your consent, to measure usage and to display embedded content. Functional cookies are always active. Statistics and marketing cookies are only used if you consent to them.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings on the Website. You can also prevent cookies from being set, or delete them, through your internet browser settings, although some parts of the Website may then not work properly. Full details of the cookies used and how to manage them are in our Cookie Policy.
