I was already a huge fan of the Love Local Jobs Foundation CIC and I’m absolutely over the moon now to have joined the team. It’s worthy, real, important and truly life-affirming work to be doing.
I am very proud to lead a programme with the foundation called “Dare to Dream”. The programme sees me visiting schools, colleges and youth groups all over Sussex and the south talking to young people about raising their aspirations and having the self-belief to chase the dreams they have while at the same time helping them develop the resilience, strength of character and confidence they will need to reach their goals.
I am so proud of the programme I have created with the foundation and to be helping the next generation is an amazing thing. I firmly believe that every young person has something to offer and that aiming high is a good thing. I am trying to give them the belief and courage to not just settle for something but to reach for what they really want and go and get it.
